The mandate of The European Entrepreneurship Education NETwork (EE-HUB) is to promote entrepreneurship education in Europe. Its efforts should stimulate further developments and make policy recommendations that will help increase the uptake of entrepreneurship education across Europe.
This document presents a comparison and review of seven entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education assessment tools. The tools, in alphabetical order, are as follows: Entre Intention, Entrepreneurial Skills Pass (ESP), Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), HEInnovate, LoopMe, OctoSkills and Measurement Tool for Entrepreneurship Education (MTEE).
The wide diversity of examples encompassing different kinds of “ecosystems” (at different levels of development) and different levels (from small scale “bottom-up” local partnerships, to “top-down” system-level changes within a region’s education system, as well as macro-regional cooperation between countries) made it difficult to identify commonly recognised success factors.
The EE-HUB experts embarked in a scope and search effort to bring Good Practices from across Europe and analysed the common success factors of all the good practices. The success factors are at the basis of the policy recommendations that the EE-HUB will put forward to European policy makers, national policy makers and school representatives.

The EE-HUB policy recommendations were designed based on the success factors of a selection of 60+ ‘good practices’ identified and reviewed by the EE-HUB experts.
