Implementation Method

  • Enterprising Huddersfield as a partnership has a central steering group to guide development of the entrepreneurship education eco-system.
  • The partnership has an action plan including dissemination of learning from the partnership to wider local enterprise partnerships, national and international policy makers.
  • The partnership is considering development of a formal agreement/commitment as part of a wider generic ‘economic compact’ (the ‘Kirklees Deal’) including other corporate social responsibility elements.
  • The partnership links further to a broader metropolitan region (City of Leeds) where its activities are an exemplar for others to emulate.
  • This is done through partnership between business and education as well as between businesses and their workforce. This provides a foundation for businesses and individuals to be more productive, to develop and create wealth

The final beneficiaries: young people, schools and local businesses.
